The Standing Senate Committee on Agriculture and Forestry met in camera this day at 5:04 p.m., in room 705, Victoria Building, the chair, the Honourable Percy Mockler, presiding.

Members of the committee present: The Honourable Senators Beyak, Dagenais, Enverga, Maltais, Mockler, Moore, Ogilvie, Oh, Tardif and Unger (10).

In attendance: Aïcha Coulibaly and Jed Chong, Analysts, Parliamentary Information and Research Services, Library of Parliament.

Pursuant to the order of reference adopted by the Senate on Thursday, November 21, 2013, the committee continued its study on the importance of bees and bee health in the production of honey, food and seed in Canada. (For complete text of the order of reference, see proceedings of the commitee, Issue No. 1.)

Pursuant to rule 12-16(1)(d), the committee considered a draft report.

At 6:50 p.m., the committee adjourned to the call of the chair.
