The Standing Senate Committee on Aboriginal Peoples met this day at 6:50 p.m., in room 160-S, Centre Block, the chair, the Honourable Dennis Glen Patterson, presiding.
Members of the committee present: The Honourable Senators Beyak, Dyck, Enverga, Moore, Patterson, Raine and Sibbeston (7).
In attendance: Julie Cool, Analyst, Parliamentary Information and Research Services, Library of Parliament.
Also present: The official reporters of the Senate.
Pursuant to the order of reference adopted by the Senate on Tuesday, February 25, 2014, the committee continued its consideration of the challenges and potential solutions relating to First Nations infrastructure on reserves. (For complete text of the order of reference, see proceedings of the committee, Issue No. 4.)

Federation of Canadian Municipalities:
Jacques Nadeau, Director, National Programs;
Theo Breedon, Manager, Program Development, National Programs.
Mr. Nadeau made a statement.
Mr. Erickson made a statement.
Mr. MacDougall made a statement and, together with Mr. Nadeau, Mr. Erickson, Mr. Breedon and Mr. Crook, answered questions.
At 8:13 p.m., the committee adjourned to the call of the chair.
