The Standing Senate Committee on Aboriginal Peoples met in camera this day at 6:47 p.m., in room 160-S, Centre Block, the chair, the Honourable Dennis Glen Patterson, presiding.
Members of the committee present: The Honourable Senators Beyak, Dyck, Enverga, Ngo, Patterson, Raine, Sibbeston and Tannas (8).
In attendance: Julie Cool, Analyst, Parliamentary Information and Research Services, Library of Parliament; Ceri Au, Communications Officer, Communications Directorate.
Pursuant to the order of reference adopted by the Senate on Tuesday, February 25, 2014, the committee continued its study on challenges relating to First Nations infrastructure on reserves. (For complete text of the order of reference, see proceedings of the committee, Issue No. 4.)
Pursuant to rule 12-16(1)(d), the committee considered a draft report.
It was moved:
That staff be permitted to remain during in camera portions of the meeting.
The question being put on the motion, it was adopted.
At 8:24 p.m., the committee adjourned to the call of the chair.
