The Standing Senate Committee on National Finance met this day at 2:03 p.m., in room 160-S, Centre Block, the chair, the Honourable Joseph A. Day, presiding.
Members of the committee present: The Honourable Senators Bellemare, Buth, Callbeck, Day, Eaton, Gerstein, Hervieux-Payette, P.C., Mockler, Seth and Tkachuk (10).
In attendance: Sylvain Fleury and Raphaëlle Deraspe, Analysts, Parliamentary Information and Research Service, Library of Parliament.
Also in attendance: The official reporters of the Senate.
Pursuant to the order of reference adopted by the Senate on Tuesday, November 5, 2013, the committee continued its examination of the subject-matter of Bill C-4, A second Act to implement certain provisions of the budget tabled in Parliament on March 21, 2013 and other measures.
