The Standing Senate Committee on National Finance met this day at 2:17 p.m., in room 356-S, Centre Block, the chair, the Honourable Joseph A. Day, presiding.

Members of the committee present: The Honourable Senators Bellemare, Buth, Callbeck, Chaput, Day, Eaton, Gerstein, Maltais, Seth and Smith (Saurel) (10).

Other senators present: The Honourable Senators Andreychuk, Baker, Dawson, Eggleton, P.C., Mitchell, Neufeld, Ogilvie and Runciman (8).

Pursuant to the order of reference adopted by the Senate on Tuesday, November 5, 2013, the committee continued its examination of the subject-matter of Bill C-4, A second Act to implement certain provisions of the budget tabled in Parliament on March 21, 2013 and other measures.
