The Standing Senate Committee on National Finance met this day at 3:02 p.m., in room 356-S, Centre Block, the chair, the Honourable Joseph A. Day, presiding.

Members of the committee present: The Honourable Senators Bellemare, Chaput, Day, Eaton, Gerstein, Mockler, Rivard, Smith (Saurel) and Wells (9).

In attendance: Sylvain Fleury and Raphaëlle Deraspe, Analysts, Parliamentary Information and Research Service, Library of Parliament.

Also present: The official reporters of the Senate.

Pursuant to the order of reference adopted by the Senate on Friday, December 12, 2014, the committee began its examination of Bill C-43, A second Act to implement certain provisions of the budget tabled in Parliament on February 11, 2014 and other measures.

It was agreed that the title stand postponed.
