Extract from the Journals of the Senate, Thursday, June 12, 2014:

Resuming debate on the motion of the Honourable Senator Chaput, seconded by the Honourable Senator Massicotte, for the second reading of Bill S-205, An Act to amend the Official Languages Act (communications with and services to the public).

The question being put on the motion, it was adopted.

The bill was then read the second time.

The Honourable Senator Chaput moved, seconded by the Honourable Senator Munson, that the bill be referred to the Standing Senate Committee on Official Languages.
