Resuming debate on the motion of the Honourable Senator Manning, seconded by the Honourable Senator Neufeld, for the second reading of Bill S-3, An Act to amend the Coastal Fisheries Protection Act.

The question being put on the motion, it was adopted.

The bill was then read the second time.

The Honourable Senator Manning moved, seconded by the Honourable Senator Raine, that the bill be referred to the Standing Senate Committee on Fisheries and Oceans.
