The Standing Senate Committee on Foreign Affairs and International Trade met this day at 10:43 a.m., in room 160-S, Centre Block, the chair, the Honourable Raynell Andreychuk, presiding.
Members of the committee present: The Honourable Senators Andreychuk, Ataullahjan, Cools, Cordy, Dawson, Downe, Eaton, Housakos, Ngo, Oh and Poirier (11).
Other senators present: The Honourable Senators Bovey, Dean and Lankin, P.C. (3).
In attendance: Natalie Mychajlyszyn and Pascal Tremblay, Analysts, Parliamentary Information and Research Services, Library of Parliament.
Also present: The official reporters of the Senate.
Pursuant to the order of reference adopted by the Senate on March 22, 2016, the committee continued its study on the opportunities for strengthening cooperation with Mexico since the tabling, in June 2015, of the committee report entitled North American Neighbours: Maximizing Opportunities and Strengthening Cooperation for a more Prosperous Future.
