The Standing Senate Committee on Foreign Affairs and International Trade met this day at 4:16 p.m., in room 160- S, Centre Block, the chair, the Honourable A. Raynell Andreychuk, presiding.
Members of the committee present: The Honourable Senators Andreychuk, Cools, Cormier, Greene, Housakos, Massicotte, Ngo and Oh (8).
In attendance: Natalie Mychajlyszyn, Nadia Faucher and Dominique Valiquet, Analysts, Parliamentary Information and Research Services, Library of Parliament; Marcy Galipeau, Head, Strategic Communications, Senate Communcations Directorate.

Pursuant to the order of reference adopted by the Senate on Thursday, February 15, 2018, the committee continued its consideration of the subject matter of Bill C-45, An Act respecting cannabis and to amend the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act, the Criminal Code and other Acts, insofar as it relates to Canada's international obligations.
