The Standing Senate Committee on Banking, Trade and Commerce met this day at 10:30 a.m., in room 160-S, Centre Block, the chair, the Honourable David Tkachuk, presiding.
Members of the committee present: The Honourable Senators Black, Campbell, Day, Enverga, Greene, Ringuette, Smith, Tannas and Tkachuk (9).
Other senator present: The Honourable Senator Wallin (1).
In attendance: Michaël Lambert-Racine and Brett Capstick, Analysts, Parliamentary Information and Research Services, Library of Parliament.
Also present: The official reporters of the Senate.
Pursuant to the order of reference adopted by the Senate on Wednesday, September 28, 2016, the committee continued its study and report on the development of a national corridor in Canada as a means of enhancing and facilitating commerce and internal trade.

Mr. Scott made a statement and, together with Mr. Arbour, answered questions.
