The Standing Senate Committee on Fisheries and Oceans met this day at 5:45 p.m., in room 2, Victoria Building, the chair, the Honourable Fabian Manning, presiding.
Members of the committee present: The Honourable Senators Gold, Manning and Ringuette (3).
Other senators present: The Honourable Senator Petitclerc (1).
In attendance: Odette Madore and Danièle Lafrance, Analysts, Parliamentary Information and Research Services, Library of Parliament.
Also present: The official reporters of the Senate.
Pursuant to the order of reference adopted by the Senate on Thursday, April 14, 2016, the committee continued its study on Maritime Search and Rescue activities, including current challenges and opportunities.
