Extract from the Journals of the Senate, Tuesday, March 27, 2018:

The order was called for resuming debate on the motion of the Honourable Senator Cormier, seconded by the Honourable Senator Petitclerc, for the second reading of Bill C-66, An Act to establish a procedure for expunging certain historically unjust convictions and to make related amendments to other Acts.

The question being put on the motion, it was adopted.

The bill was then read the second time.

The Honourable Senator Cormier moved, seconded by the Honourable Senator Wallin, that the bill be referred to the Standing Senate Committee on Human Rights.
