The Standing Committee on Rules, Procedures and the Rights of Parliament met in camera this day at 9:32 a.m., in room 356-S, Centre Block, the chair, the Honourable Joan Fraser, presiding.

Members of the committee present: The Honourable Senators Batters, Cools, Fraser, Frum, Jaffer, Joyal, P.C., Martin, McInnis, Ngo, Ogilvie, Seidman, Wells and White (13).

Other senators present: The Honourable Senators Lankin, P.C. and McCoy (2).

In attendance: Till Heyde, Deputy Principal Clerk, Chamber Operations and Procedure Office, Sebastian Spano and Dara Lithwick, Analysts, Parliamentary Information and Research Services, Library of Parliament.

Pursuant to rule 12-16 (1)(d), the committee considered its draft agenda (future business).

At 10:25 a.m., the committee adjourned to the call of the chair.
