Extract from the Journals of the Senate of Tuesday, December 6, 2016:

Resuming debate on the motion of the Honourable Senator Tardif, seconded by the Honourable Senator Moore, for the adoption of the eighth report (interim) of the Special Senate Committee on Senate Modernization, entitled Senate Modernization: Moving Forward (Broadcasting), tabled in the Senate on October 18, 2016.

The question being put on the motion, it was adopted.

NOTE: The eighth report of the Special Senate Committee on Senate Modernization included the following recommendation: That the Senate direct the Committee on Rules, Procedure and Rights of Parliament to examine and propose to the Senate any amendments to the Rules of the Senate to allow and facilitate broadcasting of its proceedings.
