The Standing Committee on Rules, Procedures and the Rights of Parliament met in camera this day at 9:36 a.m., in room 356-S, Centre Block, the chair, the Honourable Leo Housakos, presiding.

Members of the committee present: The Honourable Senators Batters, Dagenais, Eggleton, P.C., Frum, Gold, Greene, Housakos, Joyal, P.C., Ringuette, Seidman, Sinclair and Woo (12).

In attendance: David Groves and Marc-André Roy, Analysts, Parliamentary Information and Research Services, Library of Parliament; Charles Robert, former Clerk of the Subcommittee on Privileges.

Also present: The official reporters of the Senate.

It was agreed that Mr. Robert be present for the in camera meeting.

Pursuant to rule 12-16(1)(d), the committee considered a draft agenda (future business).

At 10:28 a.m., the committee adjourned to the call of the chair.
