The Standing Senate Committee on Transport and Communications met this day at 4:05 p.m., in room 160-S, Centre Block, the deputy chair, the Honourable Michael L. MacDonald, presiding.
Members of the committee present: The Honourable Senators Bellemare, Black, Doyle, Eggleton, P.C., Greene, MacDonald, Mercer, Plett, Runciman and Unger (10).
Other senators present: The Honourable Senators Lankin, P.C., and Pratte (2).
In attendance: Jed Chong, Analyst, Parliamentary Information and Research Services, Library of Parliament.
Also present: The official reporters of the Senate.
Pursuant to the order of reference adopted by the Senate on Wednesday, June 15, 2016, the committee began its examination on Bill C-10, An Act to amend the Air Canada Public Participation Act and to provide for certain other measures.
