The Subcommittee on Veterans Affairs met this day at 12:02 p.m., in room 2, Victoria Building, the chair, the Honourable Mobina S.B. Jaffer, presiding.

Members of the subcommittee present: The Honourable Senators Boniface, Dagenais, Jaffer, Lang, Manning and Saint-Germain (6).

In attendance: Havi Echenberg, Analyst, Parliamentary Information and Research Services, Library of Parliament; Mireille Laforge, Committee Clerk, Committees Directorate.

Also present: The official reporters of the Senate.

Pursuant to the order of reference adopted by the Senate on Tuesday, March 7, 2017, the subcommittee continued its study on issues relating to creating a defined, professional and consistent system for veterans as they leave the Canadian Armed Forces.
