Pursuant to the order of the Senate of November 25, 2021, the Standing Senate Committee on Agriculture and Forestry met this day in room B45, Senate of Canada Building, and with videoconference at 9:04 a.m. ET, the deputy chair, the Honourable Paula Simons, presiding.

Pursuant to the order of reference adopted by the Senate on Thursday, March 3, 2022, the committee began its consideration of Bill S-227, An Act to establish Food Day in Canada.
