The Standing Senate Committee on Banking, Trade and Commerce met this day at 6:29 p.m., in room W110, 1 Wellington St., the chair, the Honourable Pamela Wallin, presiding.
Members of the committee present: The Honourable Senators Bellemare, Deacon (Nova Scotia), Gignac, Loffreda, Marshall, Massicotte, Ringuette, Smith, Wallin and Woo (10).

Pursuant to the order of reference adopted by the Senate on Thursday, April 28, 2022, the committee began its consideration of the subject matter of those elements contained in Part 1 of Bill S-6, An Act respecting regulatory modernization.
