The Standing Senate Committee on Banking, Commerce and the Economy met this day at 6:30 p.m., in room W120, 1 Wellington St., the deputy chair, the Honourable Colin Deacon, presiding.
Members of the committee present: The Honourable Senators Bellemare, Deacon (Nova Scotia), Gerba, Loffreda, Marshall, Massicotte, Moncion, Ringuette, Smith and Woo (10).
Participating in the meeting: Edison Roy-César and Adriane Yong, analysts, Library of Parliament.
Pursuant to the order of reference adopted by the Senate on Tuesday, May 17, 2022, the committee began its consideration of Bill S-215, An Act respecting measures in relation to the financial stability of post-secondary institutions.

At 8:29 p.m., the committee adjourned to the call of the chair.
