The Standing Senate Committee on Agriculture and Forestry met in camera this day at 6 p.m., in room 2, Victoria Building, the chair, the Honourable Diane F. Griffin, presiding.

Members of the committee present: The Honourable Senators Ataullahjan, Black (Ontario), Doyle, Griffin, Miville- Dechêne and Oh (6).

In attendance: Alison Clegg and Offah Obale, Analysts, Parliamentary Information and Research Services, Library of Parliament, and Síofra McAllister, Communications Officer, Senate Communications Directorate.

Pursuant to the order of reference adopted by the Senate on Thursday, March 9, 2017, the committee continued its study on the potential impact of the effects of climate change on the agriculture, agri-food and forestry sectors. Pursuant to rule 12-16(1)(d), the committee considered a draft report.

At 6:38 p.m., the committee adjourned to the call of the chair.
