The Standing Senate Committee on Agriculture and Forestry met this day at 8 a.m., in room 2, Victoria Building, the chair, the Honourable Diane F. Griffin, presiding.
Members of the committee present: The Honourable Senators Black (Ontario), Dagenais, Deacon (Nova Scotia), Doyle, Gagné, Griffin, Maltais, Mercer, Miville-Dechêne, Oh and Wallin (11).
Other senator present: The Honourable Senator Seidman (1).
In attendance: Offah Obale, Analyst, Parliamentary Information and Research Services, Library of Parliament, Stéphane Doré, Committee Clerk, Committees Directorate and Síofra McAllister, Communications Officer, Senate Communications Directorate.

Pursuant to the order of reference adopted by the Senate on Thursday, March 1, 2018, the committee continued its study on issues relating to agriculture and forestry generally. At 8:59 a.m., the committee suspended.
At 9:05 a.m., the committee resumed.
Ms. McIntyre made a statement and, together with Mr. Lee, answered questions.
At 9:58 a.m., the committee adjourned to the call of the chair.
