The Standing Senate Committee on Agriculture and Forestry met this day at 7:10 p.m., in room B45, Senate of Canada Building, the chair, the Honourable Diane F. Griffin, presiding.
Members of the committee present: The Honourable Senators Black (Ontario), Dagenais, Doyle, Gagné, Griffin, Mercer, Oh and Ravalia (8).
In attendance: Khamla Heminthavong and Offah Obale, Analysts, Parliamentary Information and Research Services, Library of Parliament.
Also present: The official reporters of the Senate.
Pursuant to the order of reference adopted by the Senate on Thursday, March1, 2018, the committee continued its study on issues relating to agriculture and forestry generally. Topic: Support and compensation for supply managed agricultural sectors in relation to the USMCA, CPTPP and CETA Trade Agreements

At 8:07 p.m., the committee suspended.
At 8:15 p.m., the committee resumed.
Ms.Hall Findlay, Mr.Charlebois and Mr.Mussell each made statements and answered questions.
At 9:17 p.m., the committee adjourned to the call of the chair.
