The Standing Senate Committee on National Finance met this day at 2:07 p.m., in room 160-S, Centre Block, the chair, the Honourable Larry W. Smith, presiding.

Members of the committee present: The Honourable Senators Campbell, Eaton, Marshall, Mockler, Neufeld and Smith (Saurel) (6).

In attendance: Sylvain Fleury and Alex Smith, Analysts, Parliamentary Information and Research Services, Library of Parliament.

Also present: The official reporters of the Senate.

Pursuant to the order of reference adopted by the Senate on Tuesday, February 23, 2016, the committee continued its examination of Supplementary Estimates (C) for the fiscal year ending March 31, 2016. (For complete text of the order of reference, see proceedings of the committee, Issue No. 3.)

Pursuant to the order of reference adopted by the Senate on Tuesday, February 23, 2016, the committee continued its examination of the Main Estimates for the fiscal year ending March 31, 2017.

WITNESSES:

Shared Services Canada:

Manon Fillion, Director General and Deputy Chief Financial Officer, Corporate Services;

Graham Barr, Director General, Strategic Policy, Planning and Reporting.

Ms. Fillion made a statement, and together with Mr. Barr, answered questions.

At 3:05 p.m., the committee adjourned to the call of the chair.
