The Standing Senate Committee on Social Affairs, Science and Technology met this day at 4:20 p.m., in room 2, Victoria Building, the chair, the Honourable Art Eggleton, P.C., presiding.
Members of the committee present: The Honourable Senators Bernard, Eggleton, P.C., Manning, Mégie, Munson, Omidvar, Petitclerc, Raine and Seidman (9).
In attendance: Sonya Norris and Elizabeth Cahill, Analysts, Parliamentary Information and Research Services, Library of Parliament.
Also present: The official reporters of the Senate.
Pursuant to the order of reference adopted by the Senate on Thursday, December 14, 2017, the committee continued its study on issues relating to social affairs, science and technology generally. (For complete text of the order of reference, see proceedings of the committee, Issue No. 35.)
