The Standing Senate Committee on Social Affairs, Science and Technology met this day at 10:31 a.m., in room 2, Victoria Building, the chair, the Honourable Chantal Petitclerc, presiding.
Members of the committee present: The Honourable Senators Cordy, Dasko, Manning, Mégie, Munson, Omidvar, Petitclerc, Poirier, Ravalia and Seidman (10).
In attendance: Sonya Norris, Analyst, Parliamentary Information and Research Services, Library of Parliament.
Also present: The official reporters of the Senate.
Pursuant to the order of reference adopted by the Senate on Tuesday, October 23, 2018, the committee began its examination of Bill S-244, An Act respecting Kindness Week.

The Honourable Senator Jim Munson, sponsor of the bill.
