The Standing Senate Committee on Social Affairs, Science and Technology met this day at 4:16 p.m., in room W110, 1 Wellington St., the chair, the Honourable Chantal Petitclerc, presiding.
Members of the committee present: The Honourable Senators Dasko, Deacon (Ontario), Forest-Niesing, Manning, Mégie, Munson, Omidvar, Petitclerc, Poirier, Ravalia, Seidman and Tannas (12).
Other senators present: The Honourable Senators Kutcher and Moodie (2).
In attendance: Sonya Norris and Marlisa Tiedemann, Analysts, Parliamentary Information and Research Services, Library of Parliament.
Also present: The official reporters of the Senate.
Pursuant to the order of reference adopted by the Senate on Thursday, October 25, 2018, the committee continued its examination Bill S-252, Voluntary Blood Donations Act (An Act to amend the Blood Regulations) (For complete text of the order of reference, see proceedings of the committee, Issue No. 52.)

At 5:59 p.m., the committee suspended.
At 6:04 p.m., pursuant to rule 12-16(1)(d), the committee resumed in camera to consider a draft agenda (future business).
The committee considered a draft agenda.
At 6:12 p.m., the committee adjourned to the call of the chair.
