The Standing Senate Committee on Foreign Affairs has the honour to present its
EIGHTH REPORT
Your Committee was authorized by the Senate on March 1st, 2001 in accordance with rule 86 (1)h) to examine such issues as may arise from time to time relating to Foreign relations generally.
Pursuant to section 2:07 of the Procedural Guidelines for the Financial Operation of Senate Committees, the budget application submitted was printed in the Journals of the Senate of April 25, 2001. On May 2nd, 2001, the Senate approved the release of $3,000 to the Committee. The report of the Standing Committee on Internal Economy, Budgets and Administration recommending the release of additional funds is appended to this report.

APPENDIX (B) TO THE REPORT
THURSDAY, November 29, 2001
The Standing Committee on Internal Economy, Budgets and Administration has examined the budget presented to it by the Standing Committee on Foreign Affairs for the proposed expenditures of the said Committee for the fiscal year ending March 31, 2002 for the purpose of its Special Study on Foreign Affairs (Generally), as authorized by the Senate on Thursday, March 1, 2001. The Committee recommends the release of the following additional funds:
