The Standing Senate Committee on Fisheries and Oceans has the honour to present its
SIXTH REPORT
Your Committee, which was authorized by the Senate on Monday, June 16, 2003 to examine and report upon matters relating to quota allocations and benefits to Nunavut and Nunavik fishermen, respectfully requests that it be empowered to engage the services of such counsel and technical, clerical and other personnel as may be necessary.
Pursuant to section 2:07 of the Procedural Guidelines for the Financial Operation of Senate Committees, the budget submitted to the Standing Committee on Internal Economy, Budgets and Administration and the report thereon of that Committee are appended to this report.

The Honourable Senator Comeau moved, seconded by the Honourable Senator Beaudoin:
That the Senate Standing Committee on Fisheries and Oceans be authorized to examine and report upon the matters relating to quota allocations and benefits to Nunavut and Nunavik fishermen; and
That the Committee table its final report no later than March 31, 2004.
