The Special Committee of the Senate on the Pearson Airport Agreements met this day, at 9:00 a.m., the Chair, the Honourable Senator Finlay MacDonald (Halifax), presiding.

Members of the Committee present: The Honourable Senators Bryden, Jessiman, Kirby, LeBreton, Lynch-Staunton, MacDonald (Halifax), Stewart and Tkachuk. (8)

In attendance: John Nelligan, Q.C., Counsel to the Committee.

WITNESSES:

Robert Nixon, Chairman of the Board, Atomic Energy of Canada Ltd.;

Allan Crosbie, Crosbie & Company Inc.;

Stephen Goudge, Gowling, Strathy and Henderson.

The witnesses made a statement and answered questions.

At 12:00 o'clock noon, the committee recessed.

At 2:00 p.m., the committee resumed.

At 5:00 p.m., the committee adjourned.
