The Senate resumed debate on the motion of the Honourable Senator Cohen, seconded by the Honourable Senator Chalifoux, for the second reading of Bill S-11.

The question being put on the motion, it was adopted.
The Bill was then read the second time.
The Honourable Senator Cohen moved, seconded by the Honourable Senator Chalifoux, that the bill be referred to the Standing Senate Committee on Legal and Constitutional Affairs.
