The Subcommittee on Communications met this day at 11:07 a.m., in Room 705, Victoria Building, the Chair, the Honourable Marie-P. Poulin, presiding.
Members of the committee present: The Honourable Senators Finestone, P.C., Johnson, Poulin and Spivak (4).

Pursuant to the Order of Reference adopted by the Senate on Wednesday, February 23, 2000, and the Orders of Reference adopted by Standing Senate Committee on Transport and Communications on Wednesday, February 16, 2000 and Wednesday, March 1, 2000, the subcommittee continued its study of the policy issues for the 21st century in communications technology, its consequence, competition and the outcome for consumers.
