The Standing Committee on Privileges, Standing Rules and Orders met at 4:35 p.m. this day, the Chairman, the Honourable Senator Austin, P.C., presiding.

Members of the committee present: The Honourable Senators Austin, P.C., Beaudoin, DeWare, Grimard, Joyal, P.C., Kroft, Pépin, Robichaud, P.C., (L'Acadie-Acadia), and Rossiter (9).

Other senator present: The Honourable Senator Prud'homme (1).

In attendance: The official reporters of the Senate.

The committee resumed its consideration of the question of privilege raised by the Honourable Senator Andreychuk.

The committee proceeded to the consideration of a draft report.

After debate,

It was agreed that further consideration of the draft report be adjourned until the next meeting of the committee.

At 5:50 p.m. the meeting adjourned to the call of the Chair.
