Members of the committee present: The Honourable Senators Austin, P.C., Carstairs, Corbin, DeWare, Di Nino, Gauthier, Grafstein, Grimard, Joyal, P.C., Kroft, Losier-Cool and Rossiter (12).
Other senator present: The Honourable Senator Prud'homme, P.C. (1).
In attendance: The official reporters of the Senate.
At 1:23 p.m., the meeting adjourned to the call of the Chair.

Dr. Margaret Haydon, Bureau of Veterinary Drugs;
Dr. Rajinder Sharma, Bureau of Veterinary Drugs;
Dr. Gérard Lambert, Bureau of Veterinary Drugs.
The committee resumed its consideration of the question of privilege of Senator Kinsella.
Dr. Haydon made a statement and answered questions.
Dr. Sharma made a statement and answered questions.
Dr. Lambert made a statement and answered questions.
It was agreed -- That further consideration of the question of privilege be adjourned until the next meeting of the committee.
