The Standing Senate Committee on Banking, Trade and Commerce met this day at 6:20 p.m. in camera pursuant to rule 92(2)(f) for the purpose of considering a draft report, in room 505, Victoria Building, the Deputy Chair, the Honourable David Tkachuk, presiding.
Members of the committee present: The Honourable Senators Angus, Biron, Kelleher, P.C., Massicotte, Moore, Prud'homme, P.C. and Tkachuk (7).
In attendance: From the Economic Division, Parliamentary Research Branch, Library of Parliament: Ms. June Dewetering, Acting Principal Division and Mr. Yoine Goldstein, Counsel to the Committee.
Pursuant to the Order of Reference adopted by the Senate on Tuesday, October29, 2002, the committee continued its examination of the administration and operation of the Bankruptcy and Insolvency Act and the Companies' Creditors Arrangement Act.
The committee discussed issues to be included in a draft report.
At 8:00 p.m., the committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.

In attendance: From the Economic Division, Parliamentary Research Branch, Library of Parliament: Ms. June Dewetering, Acting Principal Division and Mr. Yoine Goldstein, Counsel to the Committee.
