NICK MULDER

Born in The Netherlands, Nick Mulder earned a B.A. and M.A. in Economics from the University of New Brunswick and studied at the University of Illinois and in Sweden.
In a 30-year career with the public service until 1997, he served as the Economic Advisor to the Premier of New Brunswick and as the federal Deputy Minister of Supply and Services, of Employment and Immigration, of Environment, and of Transport.
From 1997 to 1999, he was the President of Stentor Telecom Policy Inc., the policy development, communications and government relations corporation for the Canada-wide Stentor Telecommunications Alliance.
He is now the President of Mulder Management Associates, a consulting firm specializing in strategic planning, change management and government relations, in Canada and internationally.
Mr. Mulder has been active in the Institute of Public Administration, the United Way of Canada, the Kidney Foundation, the Transportation Association of Canada, the Canadian Council for International Business and was until mid-2001 Chair of the Board of Trustees of the merged Ottawa Hospital.
Currently, he is on the Board of Directors of the Air Transport Security Corporation, the World University Service of Canada and the Institute of Intergovernmental Affairs at Queen’s University.
Mr. Mulder was appointed an Officer of the Order of Canada in 1998.
