The Standing Senate Committee on Fisheries and Oceans met this day at 6:23 p.m., in room 160-S, Centre Block, the Chair, the Honourable Gerald J. Comeau, presiding.
Members of the committee present: The Honourable Senators Adams, Comeau, Cook, Hubley, Mahovlich, Phalen, and Watt (7).
In attendance: Claude Emery, Research Analyst, Library of Parliament.
Also in attendance: The official reporters of the Senate.
The committee resumed consideration of its Order of Reference pertaining to its study on matters relating to quota allocations and benefits to Nunavut and Nunavik fishermen. (See Issue No. 8 of the Committee Proceedings.)

Messrs. Greig and Allard made a presentation and answered questions.
At 7:53 p.m., it was agreed that the committee adjourn to the call of the Chair.
