The Standing Senate Committee on Human Rights met this day at 11:35 a.m., in room 257, East Block, the Chair, the Honourable Senator Maheu, presiding.
Members of the committee present: The Honourable Senators Beaudoin, Chalifoux, Jaffer, Joyal, P.C., and Maheu (5).
In attendance: Carol Hilling, Research Analyst, Library of Parliament.
Also in attendance: The official reporters of the Senate.
The committee resumed its study upon key legal issues affecting the subject of on-reserve matrimonial real property on the breakdown of a marriage or common law relationship and the policy context in which they are situated.

Ms. Sharon Donna McIvor, Lawyer.
At 11:40 a.m., Ms. Morin made a statement and answered questions.
At 12:45, the committee suspended its business for 20 minutes.
At 1:10 p.m., Ms. McIvor made a statement and answered questions.
At 1:45 p.m., Senator Beaudoin took the chair.
At 2:35 p.m., the committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
