The Standing Senate Committee on Official Languages met this day at 9:04 a.m., in Antoine-Gaborieau Hall at the Centre Culturel Franco-Manitobain in Winnipeg, Manitoba, the Chair, the Honourable Senator Losier-Cool, presiding.
Members of the committee present: The Honourable Senators Chaput, Comeau, Keon, Léger and Losier-Cool (5).
In attendance: From the Parliamentary Research Branch, Library of Parliament Marie-Ève Hudon.
The committee resumed consideration of its Order of Reference pertaining to its study of the operation of the Official Languages Act and of regulations and directives made thereunder. (See committee proceedings of February 10, 2003, Issue No. 3.)
