The Senate Subcommittee on Cities met in camera at 10:49 a.m., this day, in room 2 of the Victoria Building, the Honourable Art Eggleton, P.C. presiding.
Members of the committee present: The Honourable Senators Eggleton, P.C., Munson, Nancy Ruth (3).
In attendance: From the Library of Parliament Research Branch: Brian O'Neal, Research Analyst, Political and Social Division.
Pursuant to the Order of Reference adopted by the Senate on Wednesday, June 28, 2006, the committee continued its study on current social issues pertaining to Canada's largest cities (See Issue No. 1, Thursday, March 29, 2007, for the complete text of the Order of Reference).
Pursuant to rule 92(2)(e) the subcommittee proceeded in camera for the purpose of considering a draft agenda.
It was agreed that staff be permitted to stay in the room.
It was moved that the work plan dated March 29, 2007 be adopted.
The question being put on the motion, it was adopted.
Pursuant to rule 92(2)(f) the subcommittee considered a draft report.
It was moved that the following budget be adopted and forwarded to the Senate Committee on Social Affairs, Science and Technology.
Summary of Expenditures:

The question being put on the motion, it was adopted.
At 11:06 a.m., it was agreed that the subcommittee adjourn to the call of the Chair.
