The Standing Committee on Internal Economy, Budgets and Administration has the honour to present its
SIXTH REPORT
Your Committee recommends that Senate SEGs and MMG-2s receive a 2.5 per cent increase to salary ranges, effective April 1, 2006, as well a 1.1 per cent increase to at-risk pay for 2006-2007, parallel to increases adopted by the Treasury Board for Public Service executives and Deputy Ministers.

SEVENTH REPORT
The Committee on Internal Economy, Budgets and Administration has reviewed the allegations with respect to the misuse of funds by the Committee on National Security and Defence. Your Committee confirms that the Committee on National Security and Defence operated within the Senate rules and administrative policies and procedures as they apply to committee budgets. Your Committee concludes that there was no misuse of funds.

Your Committee recommends that the operating budget of the Opposition Whip be increased by $10,000 and that an additional amount of $75,000 be allocated to the Leadership of the Opposition.

ELEVENTH REPORT
Your Committee recommends that the entitlements of the Leader of the Opposition be amended to include an allocation for transportation. The allocation recommended is identical to that offered to Deputy Ministers and to the Leaders of the Opposition Parties in the House of Commons.
