Your Committee, which was authorized by the Senate on Tuesday, February 7, 2012, to undertake a study of the establishment of a "Charter of the Commonwealth" as agreed to by the Commonwealth Heads of Government meeting in Perth, Australia, in October 2011 and its implication for Canada, now tables its report entitled: A Charter "Fit for Purpose": Parliamentary Consultation on the Proposed Charter of the Commonwealth.
