The Standing Senate Committee on Foreign Affairs and International Trade met this day at 4:01 p.m., in room B45, Senate of Canada Building, the chair, the Honourable Peter M. Boehm, presiding.
Members of the committee present: The Honourable Senators Boehm, Boniface, Coyle, Deacon (Ontario), Gerba, Harder, P.C., Housakos, MacDonald, Ravalia, Richards and Woo (11).

Pursuant to the order of reference adopted by the Senate on Thursday, February 10, 2022, the committee continued its study on foreign relations and international trade generally. (Topic: Cultural Diplomacy)

At 5:03 p.m., the committee resumed.
Pursuant to the order of reference adopted by the Senate on Thursday, April 27, 2023, the committee began its consideration of the subject matter of those elements contained in Divisions 4, 5 10 and 11 of Part 4, and in Subdivision A of Division 3 of Part 4 of Bill C-47, An Act to implement certain provisions of the budget tabled in Parliament on March 28, 2023.
