The Standing Committee on Audit and Oversight met this day in room B30, Senate of Canada Building, at 3:25 p.m., the chair, the Honourable Marty Klyne, presiding.
Members of the committee present: The Honourable Senators Downe, Dupuis, Klyne and Wells (4).
External members of the committee present: Robert Plamondon (1).
Pursuant to rule 12-7(4), the committee continued its consideration of the Senate’s internal and external audits and related matters.
The committee considered a draft budget application for the fiscal year ending March 31, 2024.
It was agreed that the following special study budget application on the Senate’s internal and external audits and related matters, for the fiscal year ending March 31, 2024, be approved for submission to the Standing Committee on Internal Economy, Budgets and Administration:
