The Standing Senate Committee on National Finance met this day at 9 a.m., in room W110, 1 Wellington St., the chair, the Honourable Percy Mockler, presiding.

Members of the committee present: The Honourable Senators Audette, Bovey, Dagenais, Forest, Loffreda, Marshall, Mockler, Omidvar, Pate and Smith (10).

Participating in the meeting: Tracy Amendola, Administrative Assistant, Committees Directorate; Shaowei Pu and Sylvain Fleury, analysts, Library of Parliament.

Pursuant to the order of reference adopted by the Senate on Tuesday, March 29, 2022, the committee continued its examination of matters relating to federal estimates generally and other financial matters.

WITNESSES:

Office of the Auditor General of Canada:

Karen Hogan, Auditor General of Canada;

Andrew Hayes, Deputy Auditor General;

Martin Dompierre, Assistant Auditor General;

Philippe Le Goff, Principal.

Karen Hogan made a statement and, together with Andrew Hayes, Martin Dompierre and Philippe Le Goff, answered questions.

At 10:54 a.m., the committee adjourned to the call of the chair.
