The Standing Senate Committee on Official Languages met this day at 5:01 p.m., in room B30, Senate of Canada Building, the chair, the Honourable René Cormier, presiding.
Members of the committee present: The Honourable Senators Clement, Cormier, Dagenais, Dalphond, Gagné, Mégie, Mockler and Moncion (8).
Participating in the meeting: Marie-Ève Hudon, analyst, Library of Parliament.
Pursuant to the order of reference adopted by the Senate on Thursday, March 9, 2023, the committee began its study on minority-language health services.

Mark Nafekh, Director General, Centre for Health Promotion, Health Promotion and Chronic Disease Prevention.
The minister made a statement and, together with Mark Nafekh, Nathalie Valdés and Jocelyne Voisin, answered questions.
