The Standing Senate Committee on Fisheries and Oceans met this day at 9 a.m., in room W110, 1 Wellington St., the deputy chair, the Honourable Bev Busson, presiding.
Members of the committee present: The Honourable Senators Ataullahjan, Busson, Cordy, Deacon (Nova Scotia), Francis, Kutcher, McPhedran, Petten and Ravalia (9).
Other senators present: The Honourable Senator Cuzner (1).
Participating in the meeting: Daniele LaFrance, Analyst, Library of Parliament.
Pursuant to the order of reference adopted by the Senate on Tuesday, October 4, 2022, the committee continued its examination of Canada’s seal populations and seal harvest.
