The Standing Senate Committee on Fisheries and Oceans met this day at 9:14 a.m., in room W110, 1 Wellington St., the deputy chair, the Honourable Bev Busson, presiding.
Members of the committee present: The Honourable Senators Ataullahjan, Busson, Cordy, Cuzner, Deacon (Nova Scotia), Kutcher and Petten (7).
Participating in the meeting: Daniele Lafrance, Analyst, Library of Parliament.
Pursuant to the order of reference adopted by the Senate on Thursday, February 10, 2022, the committee continued its examination of the federal government's current and evolving policy framework for managing Canada’s fisheries and oceans including maritime safety. (TOPIC: Canada’s Elver Fishery)
