The Standing Senate Committee on Fisheries and Oceans met this day at 6:35 p.m., in room W110, 1 Wellington St., the chair, the Honourable Fabian Manning, presiding.
Members of the committee present: The Honourable Senators Ataullahjan, Aucoin, Busson, Cordy, Cuzner, Deacon (Nova Scotia), Duncan, Kutcher, Manning, McPhedran and Ravalia (11).
Participating in the meeting: Melissa Doyle, Procedural Clerk, Committees Directorate; Daniele Lafrance and Poonam Jusrut, analysts, Library of Parliament.
Pursuant to the order of reference adopted by the Senate on Tuesday, September 24, 2024, the committee continued its examination on the Great Lakes Fishery Commission and its work.
WITNESSES:

Gregory McClinchey, Director, Policy and Legislative Affairs;
Marc Gaden, Executive Secretary;
Stephen Domeracki, Deputy Executive Secretary and Director of Corporate Services.
Gregory McClinchey and Marc Gaden each made a statement and, together with Stephen Domeracki, answered questions.
At 8:23 p.m., the committee adjourned to the call of the chair.
